Almost everyone has unwanted hair somewhere on their body. Unfortunately, traditional hair removal routines can be tedious, painful, and expensive over time. How does it work? Laser hair removal is a procedure that uses laser. The laser emits gentle pulses of energy that pass through the skin to the hair follicle. This energy is then absorbed into the hair follicle to destroy it. Your skin may be slightly red immediately following the procedure. This typically lasts from a few minutes to several hours after the procedure.
Am I a viable candidate for laser hair removal? Our GentleMAX/PRO laser can be applied to all areas of the body and on all skin types from the lightest to the darkest skin color with dark color follicles.
Does it hurt? Our GentleMAX/PRO laser system feature a patented Dynamic Cooling Device (DCD), which minimizes discomfort by releasing a quick burst of liquid cryogen before and after each laser pulse. This cryogen quickly evaporates, cooling the outer layers of the skin. Some patients report a sensation similar to being snapped with a rubber band, but that generally resolves quickly with DCD cooling. A topical anesthetic may be used prior to treatment. The treatment causes only minimal discomfort. Slight redness or localized swelling can occasionally occur, but this usually subsides within the first 24 hours after treatment.
How many treatments are required? Typically, clients will see results in 4-6 treatments, though this number will vary based upon skin tone, hair color, and several other factors. The staff will talk to you about variables that may affect your individual result.

How long do results last? Just like the aging process itself, this varies from person to person. However, if you take steps to protect and preserve your freshly rejuvenated skin--such as using SPF sunscreen, facial cleansers and creams—the results will last longer.

If you are an active person, chances are you spend more than your fair share of time in the sun. And if you are over thirty, you are more than likely to show signs of premature aging due to sun damage. With facial skin treatment, you can now treat pigmented lesions such as sun spots, freckles, age spots, melasma, and overall skin texture-giving you a more revitalized appearance.

How does it work? Facial skin treatment works by directing a beam of light to an irregularity in the skin, such as enlarged blood vessels or irregular chromophore. How does this treatment differ from chemical peels and dermabrasion? Unlike other treatments that remove an outer layer of skin and require significant healing time, laser treatment works by gently penetrating the skin to destroy the underlying vessels and pigment that are the cause of the problem. The outer layer itself in not damaged.
Is the treatment painful? The treatment causes only minimal discomfort and any initial soreness is easily alleviated with a cold air cooling system.
How many treatments are required? Typically, several sessions are required for full-face treatment. The average treatment takes about 15-20 minutes. Results may be seen after the first few treatments. The treatment can be performed in a relaxed, comfortable manner without the use of typical anesthetics or gel.
How long does recovery take? You will be able to return to normal activities immediately, though sunscreen should be applied as a post-treatment precaution.
Spider Vein Laser Treatment
Spider veins are thin threadlike veins that lie close to the skin’s surface and are commonly red or purple in appearance. These dilated vessels may be short, unconnected lines, or connected in a matted “sunburst” pattern. They may also appear web-like or like branches from a tree.
Spider veins are most frequently found on the legs and face, but could be found anywhere on the body. Generally, they are not considered a health hazard, but clients may experience a burning stinging or dull aching pain after prolong standing.
Spider veins can be quite a nuisance. Leg and facial veins are bothersome at best, unattractive at worst. Fortunately, with laser treatment, you can make yourself look and feel a whole lot better – often with as little as only one to three visits frees you from the use of heavy cover-up cosmetics which can cake and clog pores during the day. It helps you get back to wearing shorts and bathing suits again with simple laser treatments.
What is laser vein removal? Laser technology offers a very effective means of treating spider veins. When a laser is applied to the skin, these blood cells become very hot and create a clotting effect, which collapsed or closes the vein, while sparing the surrounding skin. The body will then slowly remove the collapsed veins during the natural healing process, and thus reduce the appearance of the spider veins.
What causes unwanted veins? Red, blue or purple leg and facial veins can be a result of sun exposure, use of oral contraception, hormone therapy, age of genetics.
How many treatments will I need? Each individual client is different, depending upon the number and severity of the veins. Generally, clients should expect between one and three treatment, about 6-8 weeks apart. The treatment improves the overall appearance of the blood vessels, shrinking, diminishing or removing them completely. Laser treatment for veins should not be considered a cure. New developing veins cannot be prevented.
What happens to the skin after the treatment? Soon after the procedure, you may feel a slight bump on the skin, which will disappear in the next 2-4 hours. The area may also appear slightly redder and occasionally may swell or bruise. Infrequently, pigment changes occur (darkening of the skin), and will disappear and return to normal over time. After laser treatment, it is strongly recommended to stay out of direct sun exposure for a week or two. Wearing support hose can facilitate results.
Does it hurt? The treatment causes only minimal discomfort. After treatment, there is no down time. Clients are encouraged to resume all normal activities immediately. Final results may not be apparent for several weeks although some clients are satisfied by the results in a very short time.
